WHEATONARTS FESTIVAL OF FINE CRAFT

The WheatonArts Festival of Fine Craft features over 150 juried artists, artist demonstrations, musical entertainment, specialty foods and a beer and wine garden. Custom, glass-blown pumpkins created on site and featured in the “Glass Pumpkin Patch” for purchase. Hands-on family friendly activities include: Pendulum Painting, Build a Creature: Printmaking, Mosaic Rocks, Scarecrow Construction and Sidewalk Chalk. Visit this phenomenal South Jersey treasure that has been sheltering and caring for unwanted, sick, elderly, injured and abused animals since 2000. You don’t have to be an animal lover to love Funny Farm Rescue! And at the Fall Festival, there’s family fun galore with hay rides, face painting, pumpkin painting, vendors, sponsor an animal and much more. Admission is free. All proceeds benefit the Funny Farm Rescue Charity.

Friday will showcase the sculpturing of a 500+ pound pumpkin by a professional carver. Learn tips and watch a masterpiece being created. There will be two performances of a reading of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and a ride of the Headless Horsemen in the graveyard. Family Halloween costume contest and parade, kids under ten enjoy free craft making, amusement rides, free pumpkins, trick or treating stroll, straw garden and Halloween treat bags.
Saturday activities include the South Jersey Antique Tractor Pull, Decorated Baby Strollers and Adult Pumpkin Toss with over $500 in prize money awarded. The best pumpkin desserts and appetizers are sought for the Fun Pumpkin Food contest and free sampling.
Sunday features the All-Breed Fun Dog Parade, Little Miss & Mister Pumpkin Show Pageant, DJ Pepper Paul and Pumpkin Show decorations sold at a discount.
