Stockton University, Philadelphia University & Reliance Medical Group – Physician Assistant Master’s Degree
Stockton University is partnering with Philadelphia University (PhilaU) and Reliance Medical Group to offer an Atlantic City-based program in this growing healthcare field.
The program will mirror PhilaU’s M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies, which is nationally ranked and accepts undergraduates into an accelerated “3 + 2”, five-year master’s degree, as well as graduate students into a two-year master’s program.
Graduate courses will be held at Stockton’s Carnegie Center, which is located in Atlantic City. Clinical work will be done with the Reliance Medical Group in Atlantic City and at healthcare sites in surrounding communities.

ATLANTIC CAPE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Originally founded as Atlantic Community College in 1964, Atlantic Cape Community College (ACCC) was New Jersey’s second community college. Nestled on 541 acres in the picturesque Heartland of New Jersey’s Pinelands, the two-year, publically-supported institute for higher education offers A.S. degrees in arts and applied science, as well as continuing education programs, professional development and training service programs. ACCC is also home to two nationally-recognized programs – the Casino Career Institute and the Academy of Culinary Arts.
CUMBERLAND COUNTY COLLEGE
Founded in 1966, Cumberland County College (CCC) was New Jersey’s first community college and today provides quality, innovative programs and services and a comprehensive program of studies to its diverse student population. In all, CCC offers its 4,000 students associate degrees and certificate programs in 90 fields, including Accounting, Agriculture/Horticulture, American Studies, Business, Communications, Computer Science, Construction Supervision, Education, Energy Technology, Engineering, Fine and Performing Arts, Glass Technology, Graphic Design, Health Sciences, Journalism, Justice Studies, Liberal Arts, Mathematics/Science, Office Administration, Paralegal Studies, Philosophy and Religion, Public Administration, Social Service and Television Production. CCC is fully accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
ROWAN COLLEGE AT GLOUCESTER COUNTY
Formerly known as Gloucester County College, Rowan College at Gloucester County is a comprehensive, public, two-year institution that is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. RCGC has the distinction to be ranked as one of the 40 fastest growing community colleges by Community College Week and provides exceptional program offerings at reasonable costs.
While functioning as one of the region’s social and cultural hubs, RCGC offers degrees in Business Studies, Health, Physical Education and Recreation, Liberal Arts, Law and Justice, Allied Health and Nursing, Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics, as well as certificates, online degrees and alternative programs, including Continuing Education and Fire and Police Academies.
SALEM COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Salem Community College (SCC) is a public institution offering comprehensive, two-year associate degrees. Established in 1972, and accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, SCC grants A.A., A.S., A.F.A. and A.A.S. degrees, as well as certificates in over 40 business, liberal arts, technology and practical nursing programs of study. SCC, which is the only higher educational institution in Salem County, is certified by the New Jersey Secretary of Higher Education. Additionally, its Associate Degree in Nursing and Practical Nursing Certificate are fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing and the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
Many of SCC’s noncredit programs are offered at the Salem Center, which is also home to Salem County’s One-Stop Career Center. SCC also has three off-site instructional locations dedicated to specific programs.
Rutgers’ Intensive Weekend program is committed to providing access to MSW education for individuals in the Heartland area of South Jersey who work with families and communities. The program is designed to permit individuals working in the human services to continue their important work while enhancing their professional and leadership skills through MSW education. The program holds classes in both Mays Landing and Bordentown, making it geographically accessible to New Jersey’s Heartland residents.
ATLANTIC COUNTY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
The Atlantic County Institute of Technology (ACIT) is a public high school in Mays Landing that offers a variety of outstanding Career Technical programs, including: Automotive Technology, Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, Cosmetology, Fashion Decoration & Design, and Computer Aided Drafting & Design. The high school also has a great selection of Academy Programs, such as: Air Force JROTC, Building Technology, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Travel & Tourism, Health Science & Medicine, and Information Technology. Students are given every opportunity to be successful in school and work, and to pursue their education at the college level.
CUMBERLAND COUNTY TECHNICAL EDUCATION CENTER
Cumberland County Technical Education Center (CCTEC) offers real-life training for high school students and adults, as well as local industry. CCTEC can also customize a variety of training programs. Full-time, computer-based day programs, which offer a two-year skills guarantee, are offered in the following fields: Auto Collision Repair Technology, Automotive Technology, Carpentry, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified Home Health Aide, Certified Nurse Aide, Certified Pharmacy Technician, Certified Phlebotomy Technician, Commercial Certified Drivers License Class “B,” Cosmetology, Culinary Arts and Hospitality, Digital Graphic Technology, EKG Technician, Electrical Technology, Emergency Services (EMT, 911 Dispatch and Firefighter 1), Law Enforcement/Homeland Security, Plumbing, HVAC Technology, and Welding Technology.
SALEM COUNTY CAREER AND TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL
The Salem County Career and Technical High School is a comprehensive high school preparing secondary and post-secondary students for career and technical employment, as well as higher education opportunities that will also provide a path to employment. The school is home to full and shared-time students ranging in grades nine through 12. The technical and career programs include: The Air Force Junior ROTC (Military Science), Allied Health Professionals, Auto Collision Repair, Automotive Technology, Child Care and Early Childhood Education, Computer Assisted Design and Drafting, Construction, Cosmetology, Electrical Technology, Graphics Technology, Law Enforcement and Public Safety and Welding. Beyond the 12 technical and educational career programs, the school also houses the Academy for Energy Applications and Academy of Biological and Medical Sciences.
