Heritage Preservation Day

Join Perkins Center for the Arts for Heritage Preservation Day! Community members are welcome to bring in family heirlooms that relate to foodways and cultural food traditions, such as aged photographs, negatives, heirloom cooking instruments, handwritten recipes, handcrafted pottery, back-dated news articles, traditional herbal remedies, heritage farming and gardening tools, passed-down cook books, ancestral holiday linens, and artwork.
