Press of Atlantic City Spotlights the Pascale Sykes Foundation!
There are many things that combine to make New Jersey’s Heartland a great place to live, work, play and, most importantly, raise a family. Clearly, one of the things that contributes greatly to the well-being of working-class families in the Heartland of New Jersey is the Pascale Sykes Foundation. In a recent article and editorial published by the Heartland’s leading newspaper – The Press of Atlantic City – the publication recounted how the Foundation’s 10 South Jersey social service collaborations are utilizing the Whole Family Approach to give these families the tools they need to improve their quality of life. By the time the Pascale Sykes Foundation closes its doors in 2022-23, it will have contributed over $50 million to promote the integrity, independence and well-being of South Jersey’s working families.
The Pascale Sykes Foundation’s Whole Family Approach has found its way to North Jersey and New York through two new social services collaborations: Familia Adelante/Family Forward and Families for Literacy. Additionally, the Whole Family Approach was recently featured as part of a national panel at the American Public Human Services’ 2018 National Health and Human Services Summit.
All in all, these are great and well-deserved articles, and truly worth the read!
