Get Ready for a Star-Spangled 4th of July in New Jersey’s Heartland!
Fireworks, family, food and fun. It’s what the 4th of July is all about, and this year is no exception. On Wednesday, July 4th, and continuing into the weekend, New Jersey’s Heartland will explode with a Red, White and Blue lineup of spectacular parades and fireworks display to celebrate the birth of our nation. Woodstown 4th of July Parade
July 4, 2018 – 10 a.m. (rain or shine)
Parade begins at Allen Avenue in Woodstown
Who says small towns can’t have big parades? Since 1932, the residents of Woodstown have been staging a parade that’s right out a Norman Rockwell painting, with fire trucks and flags lining Main Street, houses and porches throughout the town. It’s patriotic America at its best!
Marlton Park 4th of July Fireworks
July 4th, 2018 (begins at disk)

Co-sponsored by the Woodstown Pilesgrove Business Association (W-PBA) and Rotary Club of Woodstown, the 4th of July Celebration at Marlton Park has become the centerpiece of festivities in the region. The day begins the annual Woodstown-Pilesgrove (W-PBA) Firecracker 5K run, which starts at Marlton Park, which also serves is the last stop of the town’s historic 4th of July Parade. The day culminates at dusk with spectacular 4th of July fireworks show that’s not to be missed.
Millville July 4th Fireworks
July 4, 2018 – Event Begins at 5 p.m., Fireworks at 9 p.m.
New Jersey Motorsports Park – 8000 Dividing Creek Road, Millville
Ladies, Gentlemen and kids of all ages, start your engines on July 4th and race over to the New Jersey Motorsports Park for a great evening of fun and fireworks sponsored by the City of Millville. The festival, which is free for all attendees, begins at 5 p.m. and features live music, entertainment, food trucks and craft vendors. Fireworks cap off the celebration at 9 p.m.
Washington Township July 4th Parade
July 4, 2018 – 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Thanks to Mayor Gattinelli, Washington Township’s 4th of July Parade is now an annual event for all to enjoy. The second annual parade will begin in the parking lot of the 11/12 building of the Washington Township High School, which is located at 519 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road in Sewell. It once again promises to be a parade in the best of July 4th traditions.
Vineland 4th of July Pyrotechnics Show
July 4, 2018 – Dusk (rain date, July 5th)
Vineland High School – Chestnut Avenue and Brewster Road
The Vineland High School campus will again serve as home to one of the best fireworks displays in the Heartland of New Jersey, the traditional Vineland July 4th Pyrotechnics Show.
Third Annual Hammonton Independence Day Parade
July 4, 2018 – 11 a.m.
Downtown Hammonton
Sure, there will be floats, bands and parade troupes. But the Third Annual Hammonton Independence Day Parade is known for much more, with bikes, scooters, wagons, strollers – and even pets – decorated in patriotic colors. Bike participants may stop by Toy Market at 200 Bellevue Avenue for free decorations before the parade, and there will be prizes award for the most patriotic decorations and displays!
30th Annual Independence Day Festival
July 7, 2018 (rain date July 14, 2018)
Michael Debbi Park – 315 Cedar Ave, Richland – 3 p.m.
The fun doesn’t stop on the 4th! On Saturday July 7th, Buena Vista Township stages its 30th Annual Independence Day Festival, which begins 2p.m. with a Fire Truck and EMS Parade throughout the Township. From 3 p.m. until the fireworks explode at dark, there will be food, craft vendors and music by DJ Nicky G of Oldies 98 in Philly and WAYV in Atlantic City. Make sure not to miss the always-entertaining Fireman’s Water Barrel Fights.
