Something Cool is Brewing at Pitman’s Summer Swelter Craft Beer Festival
You don’t have to be able to read a thermometer to know that this summer has been, in a word, sweltering. When the dog days of August are at their height, one of the best ways to find some relief is grab a nice, ice cold beer.
If you’re a beer enthusiast, you’re in luck because New Jersey’s Heartland features lots of places to enjoy the best in craft beers, including the Summer Swelter Craft Beer Festival, which will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018, from Noon to 5 p.m. at 400 N. Woodbury Road in Pitman, NJ.
The inaugural Summer Swelter Craft Beer Festival, which is being co-sponsored by the Greater Pitman Chamber of Commerce, promises to be a great one. Forty-eight breweries in all will be on hand to share their unique brews with festival-goers. With over 90 brews to pick from, you’re sure to find some new craft beers to add to your list of favorites.
The festival will also feature some of the Heartland’s most popular and tasty food trucks, including Just Fork It, Fresh Grill Catering and Paella, Empanada Guy, BaconBroads, Mary’s Mobile Diner, Dan’s Waffles and South Jersey BBQ. There will also be live entertainment and more than 20 vendors exhibiting as part of the one-day festival.
