WheatonArts’ Holiday Studio Sale features Holiday Savings on the Perfect Gifts!
It’s that time of the year again! No, not the Holiday Season. The time of the year when you start banging your head against the wall trying to find that always elusive “Perfect Holiday Gift” for that some special (or the many someones special) in your life.
We know, they already have everything. You could do one of those gift cards again, but how special is that? Well our friends at the WheatonArts and Cultural Center have a “beautiful” solution to your gift giving problems. In fact, lots of unique and beautiful solutions.
From Friday, November 23 through Sunday, December 2, Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center will be hosting its Annual Holiday Studio Sale daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Event Center. WheatonArts Members are invited to a special Members-Only Preview at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, November 23.
The sale features discounts of 30% to 70% off of a wide selection of handcrafted ceramic and glass items. Terry Plasket and the WheatonArts’ Ceramic Studio Artists will showcase functional pottery, such as mugs, teapots, vases in a variety of glazes, sizes and styles. The glass section includes new WheatonArts prototypes, seconds and overstocks, along with individual by WheatonArts Glass Studio Artists. Studio glass by Vermont-based artists Melanie and David Leppla will also be on sale.
On November 23, 24 and 25 and December 1 and 2, FREE ADMISSION will be offered to all visitors for the new WheatonArts Family Days! Presented by PNC Arts Alive!, FREE ADMISSION will include the Holiday Studio Sale November 24 and 25, the “Sketch & Tell” Museum Workshop on December 1 and a Menorah Lighting Ceremony on December 2.
