VINELAND, NJ—Two formal grand openings and ribbon-cutting ceremonies that recently took place in downtown Vineland show the added variety of businesses on The Ave.
The ceremonies, organized by Main Street Vineland in partnership with the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce, took place at the 89-Cent Plus Convenience Store, at 925 E. Landis Ave., Suite A—in the ground level of the Landis Square Senior Apartments building, and, at The Spot at The Ave Antiques and Vintage, 626 E. Landis Ave. Representatives from Main Street Vineland, as well as state government attended the ceremonies.
“I continue to be excited and proud of the increasing number and variety of businesses we have on The Ave,” said Main Street Vineland Executive Director Russell Swanson. “Our aim is twofold—to help our existing businesses stay successful and viable and to bring new successful businesses to our downtown. These aims go hand-in-hand.”
“We see an increasing number of businesses finding The Ave an attractive and profitable location to locate,” said Main Street Vineland Associate Director and Business Development Director Robert Scarpa. “These two businesses, are testimony to that. The 89-Cent Plus Convenience Store gives the residents in the apartment complex and others in the area a handy place to purchase their needs. Those looking for fine antique and vintage furniture antiques need go no further than The Spot at The Ave for that special item.”
