Organized by Main Street Vineland
Auditions and April 5 Show to Take Place at Landis Theater
VINELAND, NJ—If you have talent, put on those dancing shoes, limber up those vocal cords, rehearse that song, put that act together, and get ready for auditions to take place on March 20 and 21, for the Diamond in the Rough Talent Competition, which will be back for a second consecutive year on April 5.
Auditions for the competition, which is organized by Main Street Vineland, will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, March 20 and 21, at the Landis Theater, 830 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. The show will take place on Friday, April 5, at 7 p.m., at the theater. Rehearsals will take place there on April 2 and 4, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Tickets for the show will be $15 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens, and will be available shortly. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
The competition is open to all ages and those wishing to audition should go to Main Street Vineland’s website, www.TheAve.biz, or their Facebook page for rules and registration information. Pre-registration for auditions is strongly recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Prizes will be given to competition winners.
“If you missed last year’s show, then you won’t want to miss this opportunity to ‘show their stuff.’ We have a lot of talent out there waiting to be seen and heard—aspiring stars waiting to get that opportunity to move ahead,” said Main Street Vineland Executive Director Russell Swanson. “It will be a chance for downtown Vineland—The Ave—to again be the showplace for the next great future talent—that ‘diamond in the rough.'”
