The Vineland Historical and Antiquarian Society, the oldest local historical society in N.J. is dedicated to collecting and preserving artifacts and records related to Vineland and shares that material with visitors through exhibits, programs, and other appropriate venues. The museum collects and exhibits artifacts on Vineland’s founder Charles K. Landis, the Civil War, the Women’s Suffrage Movement, Native Americans, Vineland’s businesses, and early immigrants. Special exhibits are also curated once a year. The museum hosts special events like the Annual Open House and guest lectures multiple times a year.
