Finally, that perfect fall day is here, and where better than to enjoy some awesome apple picking, pumpkin picking or simply a lunch (Saturday and Sunday) or brunch (Sundays 10am to 12noon, then lunch begins at 12:30pm) than at Hill Creek Farms! Don’t forget – we have BBQ as well – burgers, dogs, ribs and more!

On October 4 and 5, for each Orchard Pass purchased at HCF, kids will get a FREE cannon ball pumpkin from our very own pumpkin patch! And guess what, the orchard pass is only $10.00 for the family. Plus, after your are done picking, get a $10.00 discount toward your U-pick items!

Apples picking this week are:

• Cameo’s – HCF’s signature apple. A large sweet apple, extremely crisp and flavorful, no wonder why the favorite apple of the farm.
• Jonagold Apples – Large sweet apple with a slight tang flavor. Apple is yellow background with red on top. Excellent eating, and baking qualities.
• Mutsu Apple – Very large yellow/green apple, mildly sweet, tart back drop. Good eating, excellent baking qualities.
• Golden Delicious – Yellow apple, medium size, excellent eating and baking apple.
• Red Delicious – Large red apple, old classic sweet apple, still the champion selection for pies and cakes, and eating too.
• Enterprise Apples – Large red sweet apple, excellent to eat and bake. Flavor more sweet-tart, a nice eating and baking apple.
• Stayman Apples – Medium size, red sweet-tart apple. Very white flesh. Another favorite at HCF.
• Granny Smith Apples – Medium to large apple, sour and another favorite. Excellent for baking and eating.

Also, corn stalks, cut and bundle your own, or pick from our pre-made selections. We have mums, haybales, pumpkins, cornstalks, and more. Bring your pick up truck and decorate this weekend!

Barrel Trains will be running as well. Come sit around the bonfire and relax. See you this weekend!
