Music At Bunker Hill Features Adam Birnbaum Trio on November 3rd
The Adam Birnbaum Trio has been called, “An eloquent dispatch from the heart of the contemporary piano trio tradition” by The New York Times. On Sunday, November 3, 2019, this popular musical trio will be swinging their way through New Jersey’s Heartland to jazz up the stage for a magical performance at Music in Bunker Hill.
Tickets for the show, which will be staged from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church, 330 Greentree Rd., Sewell, NJ, are $24 per person for Adults and Seniors and $11 for Students. They can be purchased online by visiting https://www.musicatbunkerhill.org/buy-tickets-now-online.html.
A classically trained pianist, Adam Birnbaum is a mainstay on the New York club scene. While he’s performed some high-profile sideman gigs at Dizzy’s in NYC over the past few years, it’s a treat to have him back headlining his trio with bassist Doug Weiss, a leading voice on his instrument and one of New York’s first-call players, and drummer Al Foster, who is a living legend and prolific bandleader having played with Miles Davis throughout the 1970s and 1980s. These talented musicians have worked together as a unit for many years, and they have a polished group sound that provides a foundation for tasteful and expressive improvisation. This is one show you don’t want to miss.
