Appel Farm’s Crafty Campout creates a weekend of connecting, sharing and learning.
Appel Farm Arts and Music Campus welcomes girls grade K-8 to spend a weekend getting creative in activities that encourage critical thinking and skill building! Gils will earn badges in workshops designed specifically for Girl Scouts at Crafty Campout on April 3-5, 2020.
Appel Farm will work with local Girl Scout troops on transformative arts and learning experiences to help build girls of courage, confidence and character. Daisies, Brownies, Juniors & Cadettes (plus any girls in grades K-8) are invited to join us for an overnight camp experience. Located on 115 acres of beautiful fields and woods, Appel Farm is an idyllic (and ideal!) spot for girls to spend time connecting, sharing and learning. Our engaging curriculum is designed to teach girls about art, the outdoors, and STEM through workshops in the visual and performing arts and to help Girl Scouts earn up to 5 badges. Girls have the opportunity to meet other girls from around the tri-state region in a supportive and safe environment that fosters community, personal growth and critical thinking.
“A weekend like this gathers together many of the values and critical thinking points I strive to shine a light on for my daughters. You give them what I can’t by making it happen as part of a sisterhood that crosses cultures and generations.” – A Junior Girl Scout Troop Leader about this event in 2016
Crafty Campout offers multiple pricing options. For one night, the cost is $75 per scout and $35 per chaperone. For two nights, the cost is $150 per scout and $70 per chaperone. Day passes will also be available.
