Lidl To Serve As Supporting Sponsor Of Main Street Vineland’s Pumpkin Patch Party And Christmas Parade

Main Street Vineland has announced that Lidl, recognized by Food & Wine Magazine as a top 10 supermarket in America, will be a supporting sponsor of the annual Pumpkin Patch Party planned for Saturday, October 31, and the Christmas Parade, planned for Saturday, November 28.
Main Street Vineland Executive Director Russell Swanson, citing Lidl’s past involvement in giving financial support to downtown events, is very enthusiastic about the company’s present support for both events.
“Lidl is loved by customers worldwide and their sponsorship of events like these really shows support within the localities in which they do businesses,” Swanson said. “They are true community partners and we are proud to have them aboard again to help make these events on The Ave the best they can be.”
A Lidl spokesperson echoed those sentiments.
“We are proud to be part of the vibrant Vineland community and appreciate Main Street Vineland allowing us to participate in this year’s events,” said Lidl Vineland Store Manager Alma Perez. “We look forward to celebrating these events with those in the area and continuing our strong relationship with the Vineland community.”
Lidl opened its Vineland store, its first in New Jersey, in November 2017 and today operates 10 stores in the state, with plans to open 10 additional stores by the end of 2021. The National Retail Federation recognized Lidl this year as the fastest growing retailer in the United States.
The Pumpkin Patch Party, attracts 100 children and parents to the mini-park at Landis Avenue and the Boulevard from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, on October 31 for fun, games, fellowship, and all-around good times. to the mini-park at Landis Avenue and the Boulevard for fun, games, and fellowship.
The Christmas Parade, on November 28 with a rain date of November 29, will start at 5 p.m., on Landis Avenue. “Peace on Earth” will be this year’s theme. Floats this year are to be decorated to honor persons in history who have worked toward the spread of peace in our world, such as Jesus, Moses, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa, or any other choice, past or present. The parade, as in the past, will again feature a contest for the best floats. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available.
