CANstruction Build Event
Organized by AIA West Jersey & United Way of Gloucester County to
benefit The Food Bank of South Jersey
Theme: Make Hunger Take Flight
Date: Saturday, July 24th
Time: 11AM – 5PM
CANstruction is a nonprofit organization which hosts annual competitions showcasing structures made entirely out can goods and uses the designs to bring awareness to the issues surrounding hunger in our community.
Come watch teams of Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Designers and Students build structures entirely out of can goods and vote for your favorite. All of the cans used at CANstruction will be donated to the Food Bank of South Jersey. The structures will be on display through August 8th.
CANstruction Carnival
Date: Saturday, July 24th
Time: 1PM – 3PM
Donate can goods to support the Food Bank of South Jersey in exchange for family friendly entertainment. Receive 1 amusement ticket for each can good donated. Stop at the Ticket Booth in Center Court to make your can good donation and receive your amusement tickets to enjoy the fun!
Activities:
Face Painting – 1 ticket per child
Balloon Sculpting – 1 ticket per child
Meet Curious George – 2 tickets per child
Carnival Games – 1 ticket per child
Magic Show – 1 ticket per person to attend: 1:30PM & 2:30PM showtimes
