Diptychs and duality in subject matter have a long record in art history beyond the High Renaissance. This exhibit focuses on the prospect of doubles. Be it a 2 or 3 dimensional work that includes a pair of objects or that has two separate pieces, both pieces or parts of the subject matter somehow create one work. Like a puzzle with two pieces, the work is intended
to function as a single work. All types of media accepted, any subject. To insure proper installation, display, or hanging, please be clear on how your work should be hung *if in two pieces, works will then be sold as a single unit so please price them as one work.
Drop off of accepted art will be:
Saturday, October 9 OR Monday, October 11 from 11 – 4. NO EXCEPTIONS
Exhibit opening reception: Friday, October 15, 6pm – 8pm www.rrcarts.com
Exhibit runs through November 13.
Art must be gallery ready: wired for display, framed or finished edges, 3-D pieces accepted.
Sales: 60% consignment for artists (Affiliate or Associate Artist members receive 70%)
