RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY AT COMMUNITY BENEFITS & RESROUCES IN DOWNTOWN VINELAND ON AUGUST 25
Ribbon-cutting ceremony organized by Main Street Vineland and the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce The public is invited to attend.
A formal grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at Community Benefits & Resources, 430 E. Landis Ave., Unit B, on Thursday, August 25, at 9:30 a.m. The ceremony, organized by Main Street Vineland and the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce, will include attendance by Main Street Vineland, Chamber of Commerce, city, county, state, and federal representatives. The public is invited to the event.
The business, an agency offering insurance solutions and resources to individuals and small businesses, is one of several new businesses that are showing interest in downtown Vineland, as well as those showing interest in the purchase of downtown property.
“Our downtown is a Federal Opportunity Zone, in which investment is encouraged in certain types of neighborhoods,” said Main Street Vineland Executive Director Russell Swanson. “That has resulted in significant interest in the purchase of downtown property. Our downtown is also in the UEZ, CEZ, and HUB zones—all of which businesses can take advantage.”
After a hiatus in ribbon-cutting celebrations because of the COVID crisis, Swanson said, things are getting back on track.
“This is one more step in establishing vibrant, successful, businesses on The Ave,” Swanson said. “In doing this, we are helping our existing businesses stay successful and viable and, at the same time, working to bring new businesses to our downtown.”
Main Street Vineland Business Development Director Robert Scarpa sees such ribbon-cuttings such as this as more reason to make The Ave your destination for eating, drinking, shopping, taking advantage of various services that are offered, and just having a great time.
“The Ave is becoming a sought-after destination for prospective owners of a broad range of businesses,” he said. “I am getting plenty of inquiries from people who hear of the tremendous things happening on The Ave and want to open here.”
