The Salem County Department of Health and Human Services and the Salem County Office on Aging & Disabilities proudly presents: Basic American Sign Language Classes!
Have you ever encountered a person with a hearing impairment and were unable to effectively communicate with them? This 8 week basic ASL course will provide:
- Insight in the different and appropriate means of communication
- Basic ASL signs to communicate in responsive situations
- Know how and when to call for a professional interpreter
Evening classes
- Every Tuesday
- 1/17/2023 – 3/7/2023
- 6pm – 7:30pm
Day classes
- Every Wednesday
- 1/28/2023 – 3/8/2023
- 1pm – 2:30pm
