From Arts & Crafts to Food & Wine and Fun for the Kids, there’s a world of great events, festivals, fairs and fitness events in New Jersey’s Heartland. Here is a listing of all of the upcoming events.
Enjoy a fitness program and see for free the 2015 blockbuster film Star Wars: The Force Awakens at the mini-park at the southwest corner of Landis Avenue and the Boulevard, Vineland. The rain location for the exercise and movie will be inside Landis Marketplace: 631 Landis Ave, Vineland. The evening will begin with a chance to shop and dine on Landis Avenue from 5 to 7:30 p.m. This will be followed at the mini-park by the fitness program from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.—Korean Sword Training, sponsored by Disciples of Martial Arts—and the film at 8:30 p.m. SNJ Today is the media sponsor for the movie series.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the seventh and latest installment in the Star Wars series. It takes place 30 years after Return of the Jedi and stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daily Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Max von Sydow.
Other activities will also be taking place during Fourth Fridays. Satisfy your karaoke passion at Friends and Family Diner, 601 E. Landis Ave. at their karaoke night from 7 to 10 p.m., weather permitting, and will feature hot dogs and hamburgers on an outdoor grill, as well as soft drinks. In case of inclement weather, it will be held indoors.
An open house will take place on the June 24 Fourth Friday at The Spot, at 618 E. Landis Ave., from 6 to 9 p.m., featuring music by George Perez, door prizes, food, drinks, and wonderful sales by The Spot’s vendors.
