The Edelman Planetarium at Rowan University offers monthly Observatory Open House Nights for those who want to bring the stars a little closer to Earth. Gaze into the night sky through their 16” telescope. Thirty minutes before sunset, guests can expect an educational tour of the night sky with star mapping, followed by stargazing in the fourth-floor observatory. This event will take place in both the indoor observing dome and through smaller telescopes on the outdoor observation deck, so be sure to dress for the weather.

Alex Alampi Jr. of Alampi Art Studio in Salem County will teach students his proven techniques to master watercolor art. Create colorful, crisp and realistic watercolor paintings.
