A Very Festive Holiday Season in New Jersey’s Heartland
The excitement of the holiday season engulfs us all. We eagerly await the chance to pick the perfect Christmas tree and hang all the ornaments that stir memories of Christmas past. Kids all over anxiously await Santa’s arrival.
The communities that make up New Jersey’s Heartland contribute to the holiday spirit by hosting a variety of celebratory seasonal events. Take a look at everything that’s happened thus far in New Jersey’s Heartland this holiday season!
Every year, Downtown Hammonton welcomes the holidays with their annual Tree Lighting on Main Street. This year Downtown Hammonton outdid itself, delivering spectacular decorations and a perfect evening filled with carolers and Santa Claus!
‘Tis the season to give. This holiday season, we can give to our neighbors and communities by shopping locally. The Riverfront Renaissance at Millville Arts Center kicked off their “Artful Giving” Holiday Shop with a special reception. The shop will be open until December 30th!
Village on High’s existing charm becomes even more dazzling when it is covered in holiday lights. Millville didn’t waste any time, lighting things up while bringing in Santa from the North Pole on the day after his Thanksgiving feast!
Every year, Kings Highway comes to life with The Swedesboro Annual Christmas Parade. This year, the Boy Scouts, a few Whoville’s, a minion, local businesses and the high school marching band all paraded the streets alongside Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus.
This year, Main Street Vineland’s holiday parade’s theme was “Light Up the World”, and that’s exactly what happened! The parade brought holiday cheer to the families of Vineland, featuring beautifully decorated floats, fire trucks in festive lights and Santa’s sleigh!
If you missed these events, don’t worry. There’s plenty more holiday fun on the calendar in New Jersey’s Heartland, including:
