Cirque Ziva Explodes onto the Levoy Theatre Stage!
When you hear the word “Cirque” what generally comes to mind? Spectacle? Pageantry? Extravaganza?
The truth is the world Cirque has become synonymous with some of the grandest, most spectacular and visually stunning performances of all time. And that is what will be on display when Cirque Ziva performed by the Golden Dragon Acrobats takes to the stage at the Levoy Theatre in Millville, NJ, for three shows on Thursday, April 12, 2020. The first two performances at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. will run for 60 minutes with no intermission. The 7 p.m. performance will run 120 minutes, including an intermission.

Hailing from Cangzhou, Hebei province, in the People’s Republic of China, the Golden Dragon Acrobats have been an entertainment fixture in the United States since 1978. This troupe of actors, artists and athletes, who have trained for their craft since early childhood, average more than 200 performances each year and have played to delighted audiences in all 50 states and more than 65 countries around the globe. They are the only Chinese acrobats to have performed twice on Broadway at the New Victory Theater, where they earned New York Drama Desk Award nominations for Best Choreography and Most Unique Theatrical Experience.
The group’s founder, artistic director and producer, Danny Chang, is a world-renowned promoter of Chinese acrobats. Chang began his training at the age of eight at his family’s school in Taipei before joining to tour with the Golden Acrobats at age 10.
