Drive Less and Enjoy Free Shuttle Rides on the English Creek-Tilton Road Community Shuttle During COVID-19
Serving the Atlantic County public, through Egg Harbor Township and the City of Northfield, the English Creek-Tilton Road Community Shuttle is the perfect service for visitors and residents. This community-based transportation began operation in October of 2012 and has remained an affordable and convenient option since its inception. For only one dollar, the shuttle helps passengers get around the local area and includes connections to many NJ Transit routes and rail stations with free ride transfers. The English Creek-Tilton Road Community Shuttle connects riders with job opportunities and essential services along its route. The shuttle operates Monday through Saturday from 6:45am – 8:30pm increasing access to jobs and essential amenities.
The English Creek-Tilton Road Community Shuttle is especially useful to Atlantic County residents because it connects riders with job opportunities, essential services, and new opportunities. Did you know over 50% of riders use the shuttle to access jobs? This shuttle is the great connector. It can take you to and from doctor’s appointments, grocery store trips, a day’s work, food pantries, and job opportunities along shuttle routes. Recently added to the shuttle’s route is Egg Harbor Township Oak Tree Plaza, an expansive retail center and booming hub for jobs—specifically at the Walmart Supercenter. Employment opportunities along the English Creek-Tilton Road route include jobs at AtlantiCare, Harbor Freight Tools, Shoprite, and Starbucks. The English Creek-Tilton Road Community Shuttle has implemented various safety measures during COVID-19 to ensure the wellbeing of its passengers. Select seats have been closed for social distancing purposes, masks are required to be worn on the shuttle, and the shuttle buses are regularly sanitized. Due to COVID-19, no cash fare is collected, and the shuttle is free.

The English Creek-Tilton Road Community Shuttle improves the quality of life in Southern New Jersey through its transportation solutions. With Labor Day coming up, please be aware there is no shuttle service that day. Other holidays where service is suspended include Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, and Independence Day.
