Escher Quartet Comes to South Jersey’s Great Outdoors
Music at Bunker Hill (MABH), in partnership with The Music Barn, presents Escher String Quartet on October 18, 2020 at 2 pm at The Music Barn. The Escher String Quartet enjoys recognition as one of the premier string quartets in the country, and brings us their touring program of Beethoven’s pristine String Quartet in G Major, Op. 18 no. 2, and Debussy’s lush and thrilling String Quartet in G minor, Op. 10. The Escher Quartet takes its name from Dutch graphic artist M.C. Escher, inspired by Escher’s method of interplay between individual components working together to form a whole.
The Music Barn is located at Gloucester County 4H Fairgrounds, 275 NJ-77, Mullica Hill, NJ. COVID-19 guidelines specify social distancing and face coverings for all audience members, performers, and staff. This outdoor concert continues the new model that MABH has developed to address health and safety concerns.
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door, free for children 12 and under. The Wing Kitchen food truck will be on site and ready to serve when doors open at 1:30 pm. Driving directions, tickets, and concert information can be found at www.musicatbunkerhill.org.
This program is made possible in part by funding from The Gloucester County Cultural and Heritage Commission at Rowan College of South Jersey, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. Additional support is provided by the Music Barn.
