This one day, online intensive workshop will cover the history and theories, palettes and major painting techniques of color in western painting.
Zoom lectures will present the history and practice of color and practical tips and exercises to better understood color. A main goal of this workshop is to help artists improve and strengthen their use of color in their work.
A variety of exercises will be recommended for the studio work period, followed by group critique and discussion.
All media and levels of experience are welcome!
Sequence:
- Zoom meeting from 9am to 10:30am
- Studio work period at home from 11am – 3pm
- Group critique and discussion on Zoom from 3pm – 4:30pm
