From Arts & Crafts to Food & Wine and Fun for the Kids, there’s a world of great events, festivals, fairs and fitness events in New Jersey’s Heartland. Here is a listing of all of the upcoming events.
On Friday, April 20th from 8:30 – 1:30pm, Appel Farm will host its third Annual Teen Arts Festival! And this year we are pleased to officially welcome Gloucester County Schools! Middle and high school students are invited to Appel Farm to experience professional evaluations, participate in fun and interactive visual and performing arts workshops, perform for their peers and festival attendees and mix with like-minded teens. Area art colleges will also be on hand to meet with students throughout the day.
Additionally, we are excited this year to announce that Appel Farm will be awarding four 2-week camp scholarships to four outstanding Teen Arts participants! All students are invited to submit a scholarship application (due April 1st). Appel Farm will select one middle and one high school student from Salem County and one middle and one high school student from Gloucester County to receive a two week full tuition camp scholarship! Scholarships will be based on merit and a Teacher’s Recommendation. To receive a copy of the Scholarship Application, please email Melissa Tevere.
Any high school, middle school, or home-schooled student is welcome to participate in the Salem and Gloucester County Teen Arts Festival. If your school does not sign up, individuals can register with the help of their parents (if under 18 years old).
The early registration fee for schools is $225 and for individual registrants (homeschool students and students whose schools are not participating), $25. The early registration deadline is March 1, 2018.
The registration fee after March 1st is $275 total and $35 per individual registrant. The registration deadline is March 15, 2018.
