From Arts & Crafts to Food & Wine and Fun for the Kids, there’s a world of great events, festivals, fairs and fitness events in New Jersey’s Heartland. Here is a listing of all of the upcoming events.
Artist Renee Leopardi will be exhibiting her latest paintings at her 6th Annual Solo Exhibit in the Village on High Gallery. Renee is a pastel artists and will be offering unframed originals as well as framed pieces. Don’t miss this fantastic show! The Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts, 22 N. High Street, will feature an exhibit called “The Golden Hour” in the Witt Gallery. The above piece is by Lona Gaines entitled “Any Fin Will Do.” The Main gallery will host the Associate Artists Show. An Octopus’s Garden will be celebrating “International Women’s Month” at the gallery – shop in the he Village on High, 501 N High St. A collection of art and jewelry inspired by influential women throughout history will be the main focus.
Artist Kevin Jordan – Simple Life Studio in the Village on High – has continued to create more beautiful Hex Signs. This one is definitely a favorite! Don’t miss this show.
Check out the “Razor’s Edge Barber Shop” in its new and expanded location — 201 N. High St. It’s the corner of High and Pine. Owner Christian Tipton renovated a large vacant space for a new and beautiful shop.
Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting at 4:30. This unique gallery by artist Maryann Cannon gives You the opportunity to buy a frame of your choice and Cannon will paint “your memory” for that frame! Visit all the shops and Wildflower Vegan Cafe this Third Friday! Stay for the second Ribbon Cutting and Celebration immediately following the first one to congratulate the newly renamed artist studio — “Simple Life Studio.” Artist Kevin Jordan gave his working art studio a new name reflecting his folk art Hex Signs speciality.
The Levoy Theatre is selling tickets for “Eaglemania” on March 20 and “Tusk” for April 3. Both will have two shows — 6 & 9 p.m. 856-327-6400 or Levoy.net
