Robert McDonald, Piano Esteemed concert pianist and pedagogue Robert McDonald makes his solo debut at Music at Bunker Hill with works by Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Walker, Debussy, and Schumann.
A member of Juilliard and Curtis faculties, McDonald was recital partner for many years with Isaac Stern. He has received a gold medal at the Busoni International Piano Competition, top prize at the William Kapell International Competition, and the Deutsche Schallpatten Critics Award.
His discography includes recordings for Sony Classical, Bridge, Vox, Musical Heritage Society, ASV, and CRI. The concert will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024, 3:00 pm at Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church, 330 Greentree Road, Sewell, NJ. Phone (856) 494-6077. Tickets are $5 for students with ID and $28 for adults and seniors.
