From Arts & Crafts to Food & Wine and Fun for the Kids, there’s a world of great events, festivals, fairs and fitness events in New Jersey’s Heartland. Here is a listing of all of the upcoming events.
Grammy winner Eugene Drucker and Roberta Cooper are joined by NY Philharmonic principal bass Timothy Cobb, pianist Gili Melamed-Lev, and violist William Frampton for Schubert’s joyful “Trout” Quintet. This quintet is distinctive because the unusual string quartet instrumentation includes the bass. A youthful Schubert wrote this work nicknamed “Trout” because the fourth movement consists of variations on a previous Lied “Die Forelle” (“The Trout”). Also on the program is “The Swan” from Carnival of the Animals by St. Saens.
