New Exhibits Run through August 11th!
This warm, summer month, we offer some local beauty! The Maurice River School of Painters group exhibit opens Friday, July 19 in our main gallery.
The Third Friday opening culminates the weeklong en plein air workshop, which features an outstanding line-up of instructors such as Stan Sperlak, Al Gury, Bill Ternay, Larry Francis, Jill A. Rupinski, Nancy Witt Mulick, and Pat Witt.
Instructors and painters will display several works of art of their scenes along The Maurice River.
The group also gives us an opportunity to see the artistic process with an exhibit of studies created during the current week long workshop. These studies will be on display in the atrium gallery space. Witt Gallery exhibit for July features our student artists from Art Creates Excellence Summer art camp.
This program, in it’s 20th year, provides opportunity for youth to spend 4 weeks creating a wide variety of art projects.
Come out from 6 PM – 9 PM for live music provided by DB-us, light refreshments, and a chance to meet the artists. Visit our second floor working artists studios, and be a part of our artists’ community here at the RRCA – YOUR community art center.
