Veterans’ Advocate

The Wilmington VA Southern New Jersey Outreach Team provides information and enrollment for Veterans and their Veteran Affairs Healthcare. They also partner with the New Jersey Department of Veteran Affairs and the Veteran Benefits Administration to help Veterans with claims to the VA. All in order to provide a “one-stop shop” for the Veterans of Southern New Jersey. The team is unique in the fact that Patrick Carney is an Operation Iraqi Freedom Combat Veteran and Jacqui Hinker is the spouse of a Iraqi Freedom Veteran. They both are also residents of Southern New Jersey. Their experiences outside of VA employment provide a much deeper level of understanding for each and every Veteran they encounter.
