DESCRIPTION:Healthy Hearts Festival 2022 \nNovember 5th\, 2022 | 10am – 4pm \nAppel Farm Arts & Music Center \n5k race & 1 mile walk Registration is open! \nAppel Farm Arts & Music Center is kicking off its new Environmental Arts & Wellness programming with a day-long Healthy HeARTS Festival on November 5th. The festival will start with a beautiful 5K race & 1 mile walk that introduces runners to Appel Farm’s campus. Our course is mostly paved\, but includes a ¼ mile of off road terrain – mainly grass. A pre-race warm up will be led by Jess Brock Pitts of Enlighten Well\, and all participants will receive a custom wooden finisher medal. All participants are then invited to stick around for a family-friendly event full of vendors\, food trucks\, workshops\, and live music! \nProceeds from the event will benefit Appel Farm arts education initiatives including the brand new Environmental Arts & Wellness and our award-winning summer camp. \nAn early bird discount is available\, but only through October 7th!
