Families are invited to attend in support of small and local businesses. \nThe South Jersey Pumpkin Show has become one of the best ways to welcome the autumn harvest with kids and parents alike. Festival goers visiting will enjoy pumpkin desserts\, over 150 vendor booths\, Fall Home Show\, fun contests\, give-a-ways\, wine sampling\, food court\, Amusement Rides\, Fun Haunted Barn\, pony rides and hayrides around the fairgrounds. The festival will host a variety of live musical acts daily. The giant Pumpkin Pyramid\, filled with pumpkins\, and mums\, represents everything beautiful about the fall harvest. Each year dozens of the participating vendors compete for prizes for the best Fall Scarecrows. Visiting festival goers are invited to help pick the winners. \nSaturday activities includes the Adults Pumpkin Toss and the Pumpkin Dessert Contest with free sampling. Saturday will showcase a reading of the legend of Sleepy Hollow and the arrival of the Headless Horsemen at the graveyard. The Halloween Costume Contest & Trick or Treat Stroll for kids ages 4-10 begins at 6pm. \nSunday events will start with the All-Breed Fun Dog Show at noon & Little Miss Pumpkin Show Queen Pageant at 2pm. Come search for one of our Halloween Painted Rocks and win amazing prizes. The Salem County Fairgrounds is located just a few miles from Delaware Memorial Bridge. The Society’s popular Ghost Walk is returning to Mullica Hill on Saturday\, October 1st. \nTales of the village’s haunted history abound while exploring the Historic District during the 1½ hour guided tour. The Jersey Unique Minds Paranormal Society (JUMPS) will offer even more goosebumps at Old Town Hall. A live feed from video cameras will set up on the purportedly haunted second floor of the historic building for a chance to observe other-worldly activity. \nTours will depart from outside blueplate restaurant\, 47 South Main Street\, every 10 minutes beginning at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $10 per person and available on-line at the Society’s website HarrisonHistorical.com . If you require an early tour time\, be sure to get your tickets as far in advance as possible as they sell out fast. \nAny tickets remaining will be sold at the event. Families are welcome. Children in strollers do not require a ticket. Remember to bring your flashlights\, cameras\, and comfortable walking shoes. Current COVID guidelines will be observed. \nOur popular Ghost Walk T-shirts will be on sale at the event as well. We will be able to accept credit cards. DESCRIPTION:4th Friday Movie Nights at Glassboro Town Square! \nWe love families! \nThat’s why we’re hosting FREE movie nights all Summer long! Join us at Glassboro Town Square every 4th Friday June-August for family friendly movies and refreshments on us! Local vendors will be joining us to supply some games and refreshments. These nights are all about serving the community\, so leave your wallets at home. Everything at these evenings will be provided to you at no cost! Just be sure to bring either lawn chairs or blankets to sit on! \nPlease note that start times are for the event itself\, and change with each event.
