Narrated music and dance performances will feature Japanese Minyo dances and Taiko drumming\, traditional Korean dances\, the Chinese lantern dance\, a traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai costume show\, the Chinese Peking Opera\, as well as a musical performance featuring a zither and vocals. \nFree admission for the East Asian Autumn Festival is provided by the “WheatonArts Family Days! Presented by PNC Arts Alive” program. \nThe “East Asian Autumn Festival” is part of the Down Jersey Folklife Center’s “Near and Far: Arts and Cultures of East Asia” project\, presented in partnership with Cumberland County Cultural and Heritage Commission and Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs. Major support for this partnership project has been provided by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts\, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
