DESCRIPTION:The activities for all five weeks of Play Streets will take place on Sixth Street\, between Landis Avenue and Elmer Street and that block will be closed to traffic on those days. \nThe activities for Carnival Day will include a dunk tank\, courtesy of the Millville Police Department; a stilt walker; a children’s temporary tattoo station\, courtesy of the Monarch Family Success Center; games on an inflatable baseball diamond and inflatable obstacle course\, courtesy of the Monarch Family Success Center and Main Street Vineland; Kenny the Clown; and a DJ\, courtesy of GP Entertainment. \nPlay Streets is a collaboration between Main Street Vineland\, Vineland Community Policing Unit\, Cumberland County Positive Youth Development Coalition\, and several civic and non-profit organizations. \nCalled “a playground in a box” Play Streets offers constructive outdoor play opportunities for youngsters while\, at the same time\, creating a family-friendly atmosphere on the streets. The program\, organized in this county by the Cumberland County Positive Youth Development Coalition\, has already taken root in Millville and Bridgeton. Gates open at 6pm and rodeo starts at 7:30pm. \nStarted back in 1929\, Cowtown Rodeo has stood the test of time\, remaining true to the traditions of the Old West and bringing each of you a taste of western ranching that is an integral part of American history. Cowtown Rodeo is the longest running weekly rodeo in the United States (this year being the 64th consecutive year). Guests can enjoy seven pro-rodeo events each week including bull riding\, bareback riding\, and tie down roping\, as well as a BBQ buffet. \nCowtown Rodeo is open every Saturday night from May 26th through September 29th\, rain or shine.
