SUMMARY:Kyle Gass Must Save The World Tour 2021 With His Merry Band O' Broze | Special Guest Comedian Chris Fairbanks
DESCRIPTION:Kyle Gass Must Save The World Tour 2021 With His Merry Band O’ Broze and special guest comedian Chris Fairbanks \nThe Landis Theater\nOctober 16\, 2021 8:00 PM\nDoors Open: 7:00 PM \nKyle Gass of Tenacious D is finally back with his Kyle Gass Must Save The World Tour 2021 in October! After a one-year “vacci-cation” on his Californian farm\, posting tons of fun videos on his social channels while waiting for his shot\, Kyle did what he does best: Killing time by writing great songs. When he finally got the call\, Kyle got really\, really nervous which resulted in the new single release of “Vaccinated” – a parody of the Ramones classic “I Wanna Be Sedated” along with a video featuring longtime friends like Jack Black\, Amy Lee\, John C Reilly\, Steve Lukather\, and many others. \nDue to the incredibly great response to the “Vaccinated” release\, and because he was tired of drinking home-squeezed orange juice all day\, Kyle went for it again. He knew the time was as ripe as the fruits on his citrus trees for the world to be saved with his super rock powers. So\, he rounded up the most virtuosic musicians in California to put on a rock show\, the likes of which world has never seen. Kyle and his Band O’ Broze will blow the thick layers of dust off your ears like a rock ‘n’ roll hurricane you have never experienced before. \nThe Couch Apocalypse is over\, it’s the beginning of a New Era: The Kyle Gass Must Save The World Tour 2021 is on! You’re welcome. \ninstagram.com/theactualkylegass \nfacebook.com/GassLeak \nAdditionally\, Kyle will have comedian and Podcast World Champion\, Chris Fairbanks\, along for the ride to open all the KG Must Save The World Tour shows.\nChris Fairbanks has delighted audiences for more than two decades in comedy clubs across the country and on Comedy Central\, TruTV\, TBS\, Fox and Amazon. Originally from Montana\, Fairbanks eventually found his way down to Austin and launched his comedy career\, then moved to Los Angeles where he can be found skateboarding on a recently-replaced hip or recording his popular podcast “Do You Need a Ride?!” co-hosted by Karen Kilgariff. Fairbank’s latest release The Rescue CactusAlbum is available everywhere on 800 Pound Gorilla Records. \nchrisfairbanks.com \nfacebook.com/ChrisFairbanksComedian \ninstagram.com/chris_fairbanks

SUMMARY:The Genesis Show
DESCRIPTION:The Genesis Show is the only Genesis Tribute Band in the US dedicated to recreating the Phil Collins era of Genesis\, specifically focusing on the ’76-’82 Tours. With two drummers and a ton vintage gear\, The Genesis Show faithfully delivers the Genesis live experience. This electric concert experience brings all the power\, groove\, and excitement that Genesis brought to the stage. \nThis Levoy Theatre performance is the band’s only Spring/Summer show\, making it one concert you don’t want to miss. This concert is the last time the Genisis Show will perform the Abacab era  because the band launches a new tour in the Fall. For this concert\, The Genesis Show will play for the first (and only time) the Three Sides Live album in its entirety… and in running order\, too! \nThe second act focuses on Peter Gabriel era Genesis songs. This half features songs like “The Knife\,” “Firth of Fifth\,” and “Supper’s Ready” that were performed at the famous 1982 Genesis/Peter Gabriel Reunion Concert “Six Of The Best.” \nGenesis was in their prime as a live act between ’76-’82\, so come relive that experience as it was. Don’t wait – get your tickets today!

SUMMARY:Gaelic Storm at Levoy Theatre
DESCRIPTION:Gaelic Storm\nOctober 15 \nShow: Gaelic Storm\nDate: Friday\, October 15\, 2021\nLobby Doors: 7:00 PM\nSeating: 7:00 PM\nShowtime: 8:00 PM\nRuntime: TBD\nPremium seating is available. Premium prices include a $20 donation to the Theatre. \nOn Sale to Members – Tuesday\, September 7\, 2021 – 10AM\nOn Sale to General Public – Friday\, September 10\, 2021 – 10AM \nIt’s hard to imagine a band just coming into their own after 20 years of success\, but that’s exactly\nwhat makes a true anomaly. This multi-national\, Celtic juggernaut grows stronger with each live\nperformance\, and as you can imagine\, after two decades and over 2000 shows\, it is a true force\nto be reckoned with. With their latest release\, Go Climb a Tree\, their music has never sounded\nmore representative of themselves as musicians and as live performers. \nThe band attributes their continued success to their fanatic audience\, and it’s a well-diversified crowd for sure. The country-music folks adore the storytelling\, the bluegrass-heads love the instrumentals\, Celtic fans love their devotion to tradition\, and the rockers simply relish the passion they play their instruments with. Each band member\, in their own way\, expresses a deep gratitude for their fans\, but it’s best summed up in the words of Patrick Murphy: “The fans are the ones that have given us this life. We’re here for them.” \nOn Go Climb a Tree\, co-founders of Gaelic Storm\, Steve Twigger and Patrick Murphy\, along with longtime friend and co-writer Steve Wehmever\, are again at the helm of song-writing duties. The album has everything—party drinking songs (“The Beer Song”)\, patriotic anthems (“Green\, White and Orange”)\, beautiful folk songs (“Monday Morning Girl”)\, spritely instrumentals “”The Night of Tomfoolery”)\, perfectly poppy songs (“Shine On”)\, and even a raucous pirate song (“Shanghai Kelly”). When speaking of the overall concept of the album\, Patrick Murphy gives some insight: “With all the craziness and division in the world\, we wanted to make an album about ‘contemplative escapism.’ Go Climb a Tree certainly isn’t about dropping out of the conversation\, it’s just about taking a short hiatus to recharge the batteries before you take on the world again.” \nGaelic Storm takes a true blue-collar\, hard-nose approach to touring\, consistently traveling the US and internationally over 200 days a year\, forging a unique path in the Celtic music world.“You have to see us live. We are the true working-mans’ band\,” says Ryan Lacey\, who joined the lineup in 2003. “We still\, and most likely always will\, tour most of the year\, and that’s how we constantly hone our craft.” \nThe dedication to live shows date all the way back to the mid-1990s\, when Gaelic Storm kicked off its career as a pub band in Santa Monica\, California. Due to their discovery at the pub\, by the end of the decade\, the musicians had appeared in the blockbuster film Titanic (where they performed “Irish Party in Third Class”). This laid the groundwork for a career that would eventually find them topping the Billboard World Chart six times\, making appearances at mainstream music festivals\, and regularly headlining the largest Irish Festivals across the country\, all the while gaining a reputation as a genre-bending Irish rock band\, whose songs mix Celtic traditions with something uniquely creative. \nLooking to the future\, Gaelic Storm is excited about what lies ahead. They’ve added a new fiddle player\, Katie Grennen\, and she has affectionately become the “purple squirrel” of the band\, meaning she is the perfect new addition. Pete Purvis who joined the band in 2005 said\, “With the addition of Katie\, the band has never sounded better\, we’re gelling on a whole new level\, and the idea of sharing these new songs with our fans is exciting!”
