In Simple Gifts\, Joseph Cashore presents a series of poignant scenes taken from everyday life and set to stunning music by composers such as Beethoven\, Vivaldi\, Strauss\, and Copland. Through a combination of virtuoso manipulation\, beautiful music\, theatrical illusion\, and artistic insight\, the vignettes provide an entertaining and sensitive vision of what it is to be human. This program is recommended for ages 8 and up\, and runs 60 minutes with no intermission. \nThe Fall Family Pass is a single $30 ticket that includes four engaging performance events over four months for audiences both young and young at heart. Individual tickets are also available. The rain date for this event will be the following day at the same time. \nOrganized by Main Street Vineland\, it is an opportunity for you to connect with yourself and your fellow community members by practicing the beautiful art of yoga while absorbing colorful\, harmonic waves of sound. \nAhmad Graves-El (a.k.a. “The Lung”) will be joined by three other yoga instructors—Kim Corda\, Kristy Lively\, and Dana Pellegrino—and two sound providers—Sitarbob and Maegan Athena Quinones—for this event. \nAll classes will be 50 minutes and anyone can choose to participate in one\, two\, three\, or all of the classes. Visit exhibits and see a show! \nA full decade has passed since ArtC founder Bill Horin took action on a vision—creating a dynamic organization that promotes and advocates for the arts and artists of southern New Jersey. An initiative of ArtC\, Strobe is an artists’ collective\, a community for South Jersey artists and a juried showcase for works by the most accomplished artists in the region. A diverse stable of over 90 visual artists including sculptors\, painters\, glass artists\, photographers\, mixed media and other creative professionals\, a new exhibition of their work will premiere in Millville for the ArtC anniversary \nStrobe Signature Artists Exhibition: Two exhibits open on 3rd Friday at both RRCA & The Arts and Innovation Center of Rowan College of South Jersey\, 321 N. High St. \nWitt Gallery: Society of NJ Artists Group exhibit \nThe Associate Artist Alcove features: Jack McGovern & Heather Warburton \nAtrium: Jason Antonelli & Michelle Franzoni \nDuring our opening reception\, there will be live music by Patty Lax. \nOpen daily Tuesday – Saturday\, 11 to 4. Exhibits run through October 9. \nRRCA is a non-profit\, community art center\, located in Millville\, NJ and provides opportunity to artists\, patrons\, and youth in our southern New Jersey region. The gallery is open 7 days per week\, from 11 – 5 Sunday through Thursday\, and 11 – 6 on Friday and Saturday. Join us every Third Friday of the month from 6 – 9 for new exhibit openings.
