SUMMARY:Tusk- The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute
DESCRIPTION:Tusk is the number one Tribute to Fleetwood Mac in the world\, bar none. No wigs\, no backing tracks\, no gimmicks\, just five musicians recreating the music of Fleetwood Mac to perfection with note for note renditions that no other Fleetwood Mac tribute on the touring scene today can come close to duplicating. \nTusk covers all the great hits of Fleetwood Mac\, which has featured the talents of Mick Fleetwood\, Christine and John McVie\, Lindsey Buckingham\, Stevie Nicks and others over the years. The five seasoned\, well-respected musicians comprising Tusk have been making music together in various combinations and styles\, in original outfits and in cover bands\, for over twenty-five years. It seemed only fitting that they should come together to form the Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute\, and pay homage to a group that dominated the charts during the band members’ formative years. Authentic-sounding and always respectful\, Tusk leaves no stone unturned in replicating the sounds of one of the world’s best-loved\, top-selling bands.\n

SUMMARY:Cecelia Hall at Landis Theater
DESCRIPTION:March 16 – 3 pm \nBerlioz— Les Nuits d’été (Summer Nights)\nCecelia Hall\, mezzo-soprano\nBrahms—Symphony No. 4 \n \nLight and dark—chiaroscuro—transfigure this concert of ultimate contrast. In Berlioz’s perfumed song cycle\, each poem comes to languorous life\, soaring or melting by turns\, especially with Cecelia Hall’s richly-hued voice and magnetic artistry. Brahms’ final symphony miraculously deepens with each tone and yet simultaneously somehow shimmers with almost piercing luminosity. The conclusion is one of the most shattering in all of music. \n  \n\nSeason Tickets are on sale now for the 2018 – 2019 season.  Order you tickets today to reserve the best seats in the house!  Subscription Series – 5 incredible concerts for $125.00. Click to Buy Now! \nPre-Concert Talks\nJoin Music Director Jed Gaylin one hour before concerts for an enlightening and\nentertaining pre-concert talk. (No”talk” preceding Holiday Concert.)

SUMMARY:Arts Lab at Appel Farm
DESCRIPTION:Arts Lab is a series of weekly after school art classes for children in grades K-6th. The Arts Lab classes are hands-on\, dynamic\, exploratory time for your child to find their inner artist in a creative and nurturing environment. Children can choose between two tracks: Visual Art Track (Creating Comics\, Sculpture\, Printmaking\, & Ceramic Jewelry) Arts + Technology Track (?Adventures in Coding? grades 1-6 only). Our session kicks off with Family Fun Day\, then participants rotate through four 2-week classes and concludes with a celebratory Showcase. Classes are taught by our team of professional Teaching Artists in our modern studios and facilities. Arts Lab allows kids to not only develop their artistic skills and to express themselves\, it also offers a creative\, enriching and affordable alternative to traditional school after care. The curriculum for Arts Lab changes every session with new projects and new classes. Students can enroll in consecutive sessions of Arts Lab and learn something new every time. Students are grouped with kids of similar age and grade; class lessons and projects vary according to age and skill level. \nClasses do fill quickly\, so register as soon as possible. Contact Tracy Power with any questions at tpower@appelfarm.org\, 856-358-2472 ext. 121. To register for Arts Lab\, please click here.

SUMMARY:StarSigns

SUMMARY:Max Weinberg’s Jukebox
DESCRIPTION:Max Weinberg’s Jukebox: \nA truly interactive experience\, Weinberg invites the audience to create the setlist\, in real time\, that he and his crack four-piece group will play that night. Performing songs from the glory days of rock and roll your guests get to choose from a video menu of over 200 songs — everything from the Beatles to the Stones to Bruce and The E Street Band’s biggest hits — and hear the group play ‘em the way they want to hear them played! \nThat’s right—the crowd gets to yell out their choices and Max plays them! This unique approach is fun and satisfying. How many times have you attended a show where you yearned to hear your favorite performer play your favorite song?\nWith Max Weinberg’s Jukebox\, your dream will be realized. \nPrepare to Party! \nPerforming over 80 shows so far throughout 2017 and 2018 Max Weinberg’s Jukebox continues to barnstorm the country\, blasting out the hits! \nAs Chuck Berry instructed us in his classic “School Days\,”…drop the coin right into the slot” audiences have thoroughly embraced the idea of picking and calling out the songs the band pays—in real time and in a variety of intimate venues.\nFrom Beatles to Bruce and Stones to Steppenwolf the band infuses these classics with the respect the songs deserve.\nAs one fan said\, “It’s not a concert—it’s a party! The bar was packed!” \nBut don’t take our word for it. Here’s what Marc Steczyk\, director of the Lincoln Amphitheater\, in Indiana\, had to say:\n“Max Weinberg’s Jukebox was one of the most interactive\, energetic performances that we’ve ever had at the Lincoln Amphitheater! Max\, literally\, leaves the stage to be amongst the crowd—his fans—and lets them pick the setlist from a scrolling list of 300+ songs…and they play it…on the spot…spot on! Max is a pro’s pro\, as was his entire band—tremendously professional to work with and a great asset to our entire performance series!” \nPurchase tickets here.
