The New York-based quartet performs a diverse mix of The Floyd’s extensive 16-album repertoire\, complete with faithful renditions of popular hits as well as obscure gems. \nWith stellar musicianship and passionate delivery\, The Machine explores collective improvisation rivaling that of an early 1970’s Pink Floyd\, while their use of expanded theatrical elements and elaborate stage displays and lighting continues The Floyd spirit of the 1980’s. The band is also known for recreating entire albums as a part of their show\, accepting requests from fans\, and for taking an A – Z approach in which one song is played for every letter of the alphabet. \nThe Machine has sold out theaters\, premier showcase rooms and casinos across North America\, Europe and Asia\, performed at renowned music festivals such as Bonnaroo\, Riverbend\, and Gathering of the Vibes\, and shared the stage with full symphony orchestras\, including the Atlanta\, Detroit\, Pittsburgh\, Jacksonville\, Charlotte and San Diego Symphonies\, as well as the Buffalo Philharmonic. \nThe band features founding member Tahrah Cohen (drums)\, longtime bandmates Scott Chasolen (keys\, vocals) and Ryan Ball (guitar\, vocals)\, and newest member Chris DeAngelis (bass\, lead vocals). Woodbury\, New Jersey + FAF Coalition are coming together to bring you ART IN THE GARDEN–beautiful gardens\, performing arts and Woodbury\, New Jersey….what else do you need in life?! (Nada!) \nThe Greater Woodbury Garden Club tour is as annual event that has been part of our community for decades. There are commonly 8-12 homes included in the tour. Attendees are given a booklet with description of gardens and artists which also gives them direction to drive to participating homes at their own pace and tour the gardens at their leisure. \nTo highlight our amazing local artist population\, this year we will be helping to incorporate visual & performing art at each location. This is a unique opportunity for artists to be featured in an outdoor natural environment. The tour attracts hundreds of attendees and will be a wonderful way to connect with the community and prospective patrons. \nArtists may display/perform based on your agreement with the homeowner. Think… Easels\, possibly hung from trees\, art nestled in gardens or prominently displayed as a focal point. Plein Air creation would be welcome of course. Performing Artists should view the space and make suggestions. Use your imagination based on the environment. The event is rain or shine– so consider options appropriate and possible weather plans. \nPlease submit your information and example of your work for consideration by APRIL 21ST. \nClick HERE for the application link. \nNew Jersey’s Heartland | Atlantic County\, Cumberland County\, Gloucester County\, Salem County

SUMMARY:Alchemy of Adornment at WheatonArts
DESCRIPTION:Alchemy of Adornment at WheatonArts \nApril 1 – December 31\, 2023 | Thursdays – Sundays | 11am – 4pm \n‘Alchemy of Adornment” invites visitors to revel in the enchanting worlds of Philadelphia-based artist and educator Amber Cowan. Cowan transforms American-pressed glass into exuberantly adorned diorama-like wall installations and free-standing sculptures using the centuries-old techniques of glassblowing and flameworking. \nShe masterfully remelts and sculpts cullet (factory scrap glass) to create new elements and blends them with found\, sought\, and donated antique glass. Her lush assemblages lure the viewer into fanciful narratives rich with symbolism and themes of transformation\, femininity\, and nostalgia. View her work in the Museum of American Glass at WheatonArts from April through December 2023. \nPlan your visit at wheatonarts.org. April 1 through December 31\, 2023 – Open Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. WheatonArts 1000 Village Drive\, Millville\, NJ 08332 \nClick HERE to see more event details. \nNew Jersey’s Heartland | Atlantic County\, Cumberland County\, Gloucester County\, Salem County
