Woodbury\, New Jersey + FAF Coalition are coming together to bring you ART IN THE GARDEN–beautiful gardens\, performing arts and Woodbury\, New Jersey….what else do you need in life?! (Nada!) \nThe Greater Woodbury Garden Club tour is as annual event that has been part of our community for decades. There are commonly 8-12 homes included in the tour. This is a unique opportunity for artists to be featured in an outdoor natural environment. The tour attracts hundreds of attendees and will be a wonderful way to connect with the community and prospective patrons. \nArtists may display/perform based on your agreement with the homeowner. Think… Easels\, possibly hung from trees\, art nestled in gardens or prominently displayed as a focal point. Plein Air creation would be welcome of course. Performing Artists should view the space and make suggestions. Use your imagination based on the environment. The event is rain or shine– so consider options appropriate and possible weather plans. \nPlease submit your information and example of your work for consideration by APRIL 21ST. \nClick HERE for the application link. \nNew Jersey’s Heartland | Atlantic County\, Cumberland County\, Gloucester County\, Salem County

SUMMARY:Free Bubble Festival at Locke Ave Park Family Fun Day
DESCRIPTION:Free Bubble Festival at Locke Ave Park Family Fun Day \nSat\, May 20\, 2023 at 9:00 AM \nLocke Ave Park\, 58 Locke Ave\, Swedesboro\, NJ\, 08085 \nClick HERE to see the event on Eventbrite. \nKids! Come make the BIGGEST bubbles of your lives — FREE — with GRANDPOP BUBBLES™! \nSwedesboro-Woolwich Parks & Recreation will sponsor GRANDPOP BUBBLES™ and his amazing “Free Bubble Festival\,” where kids from 12-months to 1200-months will make the BIGGEST bubbles of their lives! \nGrandpop Bubbles will bring his bubble wands\, poles\, basins\, buckets\, and many gallons of SPECIAL BUBBLE JUICE for as many as possible to enjoy bubbling with #GPOPB. \nYou’ll share Grandpop Bubbles’ bubble juice and 4′ bubble wands and his 3′ bubble “Tristrings” (two sticks and strings) to make bubbles. He guarantees that you will make the BIGGEST bubbles of your life — whatever your age. See photos at facebook.com/GrandpopBubbles/photos. \n(After the event\, send your photos to GPOPB or post here to WIN a Free Bubble Party… each photo is a chance to win!) \nAll will be amazed by the giant bubbles from Grandpop Bubbles’ 8′\, 10′\, and 16’. Bubbles can be 10′\, 20′\, 30′\, and even 75′! Some adults may want to try the long poles. \n………………… \nThere will be so many things for the kids and kids-at-heart to do… \n~~ Make BUBBLES and BUBBLE RAINBOWS! \n~~ Try to escape the GHOST OF BLOB. \n~~ Run away from Bubble GHOSTS\, DRAGONS\, WHALES\, and DINOSAURS! \n~~ Pop all the cars of a BUBBLE TRAIN if you can reach them! \n~~ Hit the floor with DANCING BUBBLES! \n~~ Rain goes through my bubbles\, so I will be there unless co-sponsor must cancel event. \n~~ Weather forecasts won’t tell you\, but Grandpop Bubbles predicts that the weather phenomenon he calls the BUBBLE BLIZZARD may occur… (about every half hour). Poppers will freak out! \n—————– \nParents will supervise their kids as they make bubbles and bring goggles if desired. Bubble at your own risk. A few KINDNESSES are in order\, so teach your children the following before coming and while bubbling… \n1. BORROW wands and tristrings and SHARE when the time comes… Children are welcome to bring their wands and blowers or use Grandpop Bubbles’ wands and tristrings. \n2. Teach kids to RESIST the temptation to STIR the mix. Stirring makes lots of FROTH. FROTH in the mix is BAD for bubbles. Rather\, just press the wand to the bottom of the bucket and slide out slowly\, sideways is best. \n3. We like “POPPERS\,” but when someone asks you to NOT pop their bubbles\, please respect that. Grandpop Bubbles will make enough bubbles for everyone to pop. Only pop bubbles with FINGERS or NOSES. No swinging or throwing stuff\, OK? (if we do not follow that request it gets crazy.) \n4. You might consider letting the really GIANT Bubbles Live\, to enjoy the way they shape-shift. \n(a.) – If the bubble is smaller than you then go ahead and POP IT! \n(b.) – If it is bigger than you\, then you might want to LET IT LIVE so people can admire the beauty! \n(c.) – Then\, instead of popping the giant bubbles\, try to get under them\, then BLOW PUFFS of air into them to make little bubbles inside the big bubbles. It’s more fun than popping and it lets the giant bubbles live longer so we can enjoy their shapes and colors. \n5. RESPECT the equipment you borrow\, please. Keep in the area and do not carry while popping any bubbles. Never leave the wands or tristrings on the ground where they get broken and dirty\, but return to the cart or bucket home or hand them to a volunteer. \n———————————– \nGrandpop Bubbles loves to bubble in a light rain or drizzle\, but Swedesboro-Woolwich Parks & Recreation will have final say regarding the weather if the weather is miserable. If the event is cancelled\, I might be allowed to continue with the bubbling portion of the event… Stay posted. \n———————————— \nBubbly regards! \nBrian Maloney\, grandpopbubbles@gmail.com \nwww.facebook.com/GrandpopBubbles \nBubble Hotline: 929-BUBBLE-ME (929-282-2536) \nNew Jersey’s Heartland | Atlantic County\, Cumberland County\, Gloucester County\, Salem County
