SUMMARY:Cuentos del Árbol at WheatonArts
DESCRIPTION:Cuentos del Árbol \nApril 15\, 2023 @1pm | WheatonArts \nA delightful bilingual musical drawn from Spanish and Latin American folklore\, this free public play is about 55 minutes long and appropriate for preschool children through fifth grade. “Cuentos del Árbol” is designed to bring Spanish to life and make theatre accessible to students\, parents\, and grandparents for whom English is a second language. \nThe centerpiece of all the “tales” is a tree (Un Árbol) that has sheltered\, shielded\, and nurtured countless characters who have passed her way over the years. The tree’s caretaker\, Arbolita\, shares four of these stories with Tomas\, a storyteller looking for tales for his collection. \nIt is brought to life by the Pushcart Players inside the WheatonArts Event Center. This performance at WheatonArts is part of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance 2023 Stages Festival\, a state-wide celebration of theatre. Made possible by support from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts\, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts; The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey; OceanFirst Foundation; Fund for the New Jersey Blind; New Jersey Manufacturers; and Customers Bank. Free on Saturday April 15\, 2023 at 1 p.m. \nClick HERE for more details about this event on WheatonArts’ website. \nNew Jersey’s Heartland | Atlantic County\, Cumberland County\, Gloucester County\, Salem County

SUMMARY:Alchemy of Adornment at WheatonArts
DESCRIPTION:Alchemy of Adornment at WheatonArts \nApril 1 – December 31\, 2023 | Thursdays – Sundays | 11am – 4pm \n‘Alchemy of Adornment” invites visitors to revel in the enchanting worlds of Philadelphia-based artist and educator Amber Cowan. Cowan transforms American-pressed glass into exuberantly adorned diorama-like wall installations and free-standing sculptures using the centuries-old techniques of glassblowing and flameworking. \nShe masterfully remelts and sculpts cullet (factory scrap glass) to create new elements and blends them with found\, sought\, and donated antique glass. Her lush assemblages lure the viewer into fanciful narratives rich with symbolism and themes of transformation\, femininity\, and nostalgia. View her work in the Museum of American Glass at WheatonArts from April through December 2023. \nPlan your visit at wheatonarts.org. April 1 through December 31\, 2023 – Open Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. WheatonArts 1000 Village Drive\, Millville\, NJ 08332 \nClick HERE to see more event details. \nNew Jersey’s Heartland | Atlantic County\, Cumberland County\, Gloucester County\, Salem County

DESCRIPTION:Steal Your Peach \nMarch 31\, 2023 at 8PM | Broadway Theatre of Pitman \nWe are thrilled to announce Steal Your Peach is debuting at The Broadway Theatre of Pitman! Steal Your Peach is the ultimate Rock band in the area fusing the music of The Allman Brothers Band and The Grateful Dead! \nThey are a mixture of some of hardest working musicians in the Philadelphia area including members or former members of Live at The Fillmore\, Tom Hamilton’s American Babies\, Dead on Live\, Rainbow Full of Sound\, Splintered Sunlight and more\, specializing in a mashup concept\, fusing the music of The Allman Brothers Band and The Grateful Dead. \nEach of us has multiple projects currently both original and not\, but have formed a bond here with some of our favorite and most influential music\, paying close attention to detail of all of the original music\, while also adding our own improv to the mix making each show unique and exciting\, and to create a very tangible symbiotic experience between the band and the listeners. SUMMARY:Twitty & Lynn- A Salute to Conway & Loretta
DESCRIPTION:Twitty & Lynn- A Salute to Conway & Loretta \nMarch 31\, 2023 @8:00 PM \nTayla Lynn and Tre Twitty have country music in their blood. The grandchildren of famed duo Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty\, the two have taken to the road to honor their grandparents in an intimate evening of music and storytelling. Tayla Lynn and Tre Twitty have seen great success with their Tribute to Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty; going into their second year together\, the duo already has at least two dozen tour dates set throughout much of North America and Canada. \nThrough their memories of Memaw and Poppy\, as they call their grandparents\, the show takes on the quality of a family get together\, and it often feels more like one is on the front porch with guitars and old family hymns than it does a concert. It is a fascinating opportunity to see two of country musics greatest legends through their grandchildren’s eyes. The high-energy\, heartfelt show highlights not only the bond Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty had as best friends and musical partners\, but the unique bond Tayla and Tre have formed through years of an intertwined family history and their own musical relationship. \nClick HERE to get your tickets!
