Fourth of July Fireworks will light up the skies in Heartland Boroughs, here’s where you can find them
Independence Day Fireworks will be lighting up New Jersey’s Heartland this July. If you’re looking to get out of the house and catch some fireworks this month, here is the county-by-county breakdown of New Jersey’s Heartland—where and when you can watch, and what you need to know:
Cumberland County
- Fireworks in Millville – in light of the beloved Cumberland County Fair’s cancellation, Millville officials wanted to organize a smaller scale celebration to satisfy fans of the popular fair—which in past years saw flocks of locals and visitors alike. Now, a firework display is scheduled for 9pm on July 4th at the Union Lake Park. In the event of rain, the show will be postponed to July 5th.
Sharp Street and Columbia Avenue
- Fireworks in Vineland: Mayor of Vineland, Anthony Fanucci, wanted to be sure that his town could continue their tradition of celebrating Independence Day like they have in past years. He told the Daily Journal “We want people to look forward to it and get excited for it, I know we are.” The city of Vineland has approved a fireworks display at 9pm on July 4th at Vineland High School Complex. For inclement weather, the rain date will be July 5th.
Chestnut Avenue and Brewster Road
Salem County
- Fireworks in Pilesgrove: The Four Seasons Family Campground located in the Delaware River Region of South Jersey, is the perfect place to invite family and friends for a patriotic evening on Kildeer Lake. Lay out under the stars and allow the campground to supply the entertainment with its annual Independence Day fireworks. The show starts at 9:30pm on July 3rd.

- Fireworks at Cowtown Rodeo: A fixture of Salem County and the oldest weekly running rodeo in the USA, Cowtown Rodeo had to delay their opening night of the season to July 4th. The rodeo plans to ring in both the beginning of their 66th season and Fourth of July with a fireworks show after the rodeo performance. The fireworks will begin at approximately 10pm and tickets for the rodeo’s opening night are $25 for ages 13 and over, and $10 for ages 3 to 12. For tickets, visit cowtownrodeo.com

- Fireworks in Hammonton: The Town of Hammonton, known for its annual July 4th parade down the historic Main Street will salute the red, white, and blue in a new way this year. Hammonton High School will host a fireworks display on July 4th beginning at dusk. Friends and families are invited to bring blankets and chairs, settle in, and enjoy the show.

- Fireworks in Egg Harbor City: The Egg Harbor Lake Campground, nestled in the heart of the Pine Barrens, will hold their annual fireworks display over the lake. Whether you choose to barbeque or simply relax on a beach chair, the lake is open for all to gather and celebrate. The fireworks start at sundown on July 11th.
