Free Rides for Eligible Senior, Disabled and Rural Area Voters on Election Day!
Salem, NJ– Salem County is offering free rides on Election Day to eligible voters who are senior, disabled, or who live in designated rural areas. The rides are being coordinated on the “Scoot” buses operated by the Office on Aging and Disabilities in the Department of Health and Human Services.
As in the past several years, fees will be waived for riders going to the polls on November 6th between 9 a.m. and noon. To determine eligibility and schedule a ride, resident can call the Salem County Office on Aging and Disabilities at 339.8644.
