Friends Village and Inspira Health to Host Health & Wellness Fair for Local Seniors
WHAT:
Friends Village, a FellowshipLIFE senior living community, and Inspira Health will host a
Health & Wellness Fair for local seniors. The event will feature free health screenings, wellness
resources and exhibitors, and a presentation on healthy eating habits – all tailored to the health
needs of older adults.
The event is free and open to the public and will take place at the Friends Village campus. Older
adults from Salem and surrounding counties are encouraged to attend and discover resources to
become more proactive about their health and wellbeing.
Health care professionals will provide various screenings and resources including:
- Blood pressure and glucose checks
- Balance screening
- Cancer screening and information
- Medication disposal pouches
- Cardiopulmonary screening
