GrandFUN Going to an Egg & Veggie Hunt
It has been said, “You will never look back on life and think, ‘I’ve spent too much time with my grandkids’.” There’s nothing like enjoying time with your grandkids and GrandFUN is offering another opportunity for you to do just that.
On Saturday, April 4, 2020, from 10 am to noon, the Salem County Department of Health and Human Services, GrandFUN program will be going on an Egg & Veggie Hunt at Coombs Barnyard located at 20 Rt. 77 (Pole Tavern Rd.), Elmer, NJ 08318.
Plan to have all kinds of fun. We will be taking a hayride, visiting the farm animals, hunting for veggies and eggs, and enjoying a special visit with the Easter Bunny.
GrandFUN is for grandparents and other adult caregivers (55+), who have primary caregiving responsibilities for children under 18 years of age.
Events are held in the evenings, weekends, or around the grandchildren’s school schedules throughout the year. The Office on Aging and Disabilities will be hosting free events in and around the county as well as surrounding areas.
Advanced registration is required. To register or obtain more information about GrandFUN, call the Salem County Office on Aging and Disabilities at (856)-339-8622. Also, get regular updates on events from our facebook page, located at www.facebook.com/salemcounty.ooa or sign up for our senior Enews.
