HAMMONTON FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL RETURNS TO DOWNTOWN HAMMONTON
To kick off a summer of festival and activities, MainStreet Hammonton is pleased to host the fifth annual Hammonton Food TruckFestival, Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 4:30pm-9:30pm. Thirty one unique food trucks will roll into Downtown Hammonton and line up along Bellevue Ave, Central Ave, S Second St. and Horton Ave.
The Hammonton Food Truck Festival will build on the success of last year and will feature a diverse lineup of street eats that are sure to satisfy every taste bud. Local pick include Tacos Al Carbon as well as regional favorites, Paella on the Porch, Phyllodelphia Greek & Mediterranean and Papermill-Fresh Asian Kitchen. Brand new trucks such as Cajun Jax BBQ, Calle Del Sabor and Kimmie’s Mae’s Mac & Cheese will join the fest this year. On stage, live outdoor entertainment will be going on throughout the entire fest. Back by popular request and kicking off at 4:30pm on Central Ave, will be the bluegrass, acoustic and rock-n-roll band, “NorthEast Corners”. At 6:30pm, Philadelphia’s premier funk and soul extravaganza, “Swift Technique”, will perform a blend of funk, soul, rock and hip-hop. This band has steadily toured, performed and recorded all over the country and are sprinting into their tenth year at full speed.
The Beer Garden, located of South Second, will open at a new earlier time of 1pm, for those who want to get a head start on all of the fun. Local breweries, Three 3’s Brewing Co., Tom Foolery Brewing Co. and Vinyl Brewing will be featuring their unique craft beers and regional favorite, Double Nickel Brewing Company from Pennsauken, NJ will join the Garden this year. Three bands will perform at the Beer Garden stage starting with “Brian and Mindy unplugged”, a duet that has performed throughout the tri-state area and who are members of the band MIMIC. “Electric Beach”, the high energy, female fronted, 4 piece band from Philadelphia, will perform from 3pm-7pm, and will play your favorite dance, pop and rock hits from yesterday and today. “Five Times Famous”, the acoustic duo and popular area entertainers will perform from 7pm-9:30pm and will feature original and cover music to add to an evening of fun.
Downtown Hammonton is miles from everywhere. Exit 28 off the AC Expressway- halfway between Philly and AC or straight down Route 206 from Trenton.
