Now in its fifth year, the Pumpkin Patch Party brings the crowd for holiday fun and games. The event will include a trunk-or-treat event, courtesy of Toyota of Vineland and is planned for Saturday, October 31, rain or shine, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, at the mini-parks, Landis Avenue and the Boulevard, in Vineland. Free to the public, the pumpkin patch party includes a DJ, children’s mask giveaway, a clown, a magic show, pumpkin painting, coloring books, a photo selfie station, and more!

Duffield’s Farm pumpkin-picking hayride tickets can be purchased online, where you select the date and time.
Tickets for the hayride only sell online for $5.15, whereas tickets to the hayride with a pumpkin picking (one pumpkin per person) included sell for $12.36. Other activities include a corn maze, Barn Bounce, Barnyard Express, and apple picking. This family-owned and operated farm offers a selection of fresh produce and baked goods for sale in its market store. The corn maze and barnyard express rides can be purchased for $4.00 (cash only) at the entrance. Open Monday-Saturday from 9 am – 6 pm.

This South Jersey farm is a perfect escape for the family! Hill Creek Farms offers you-pick pumpkins and apples, delicious apple cider donuts, cornstalks to top off your fall décor, and a slow-paced barrel train ride for your kids. As Hill Creek Farms notes, this slow-paced train ride is “a perfect way to acquaint your child with rural living, not to mention an adorable photo opportunity for you to share online.” While the kids are having a blast at the playground, and after you’ve sampled our Hill Creek Apple Wine, you can stop into the Fresh Farm Market for a jug of apple cider. Lastly, be sure to keep your kids entertained at the Gem Mining Company to awaken your child’s curiosity about hidden treasures outdoors. The Creamy Acres Farm Park is fun for families with children because activities include Tire Mountain, Toss Games, Tube Shute, Tire Climb, Corn Hole Games, Large Checker Boards, Animal Train, and Zombie Paintball Shootout. The Pumpkin Patch and Hayride are only available on Saturdays in October, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. The all-day pass is for Saturdays only and includes Hayrides to Pumpkin Patch, Kiddie Corn Maze, and the new Farm Park. The cost of the all-day pass is $7.00 for Adults, $12.00 for children ages 3-12 years old, and children 2 or under are free! The Farm Park includes Pedal Karts that are fun for all: little kids, big kids, adults, and the kid in all of us! It’s cash only for the pumpkin patch, but you can enjoy the barnyard walk (petting area) and playground for free!

For the twelfth year in a row, artists from all over Salem County are coming together to share their studios with the public for a two-day, countywide event. “Salem County Arts in Bloom” is a free two-day art event will happen on November 28 – 29, 2020, and will span many locations throughout Salem County, NJ (towns such as Alloway, Canton, Elmer, Elsinboro, Lower Alloways Creek, Monroeville, Pedricktown, Pennsville, Pittsgrove, Salem, and Woodstown). Guests will enjoy open studio and gallery tours featuring local artists, with activities including pottery demonstrations, painting, fiber arts, puppetry, and much more. Established in 2012, Ward’s Farm is a Cut Flower farm that specializes in sunflowers and dahlias. They have several varieties of both and many other flowers as well. What started as a private farm is now open to the public on occasion for special events, like their “pick your own” events! Seize the opportunity for a “pick your own” event this Saturday, October 24, as it is the last “pick your own” event of the season at Ward’s Farm! Pick your own sunflowers and/or pumpkins at Ward’s Farm! There’s no entry fee and flowers are only $1.00 per stem. The pumpkins are sold for $4.00 if small or medium and $8.00 if large. (Note – Tickets are required for entry into the fields. Please see the link above).
Ward’s Farm visitors are welcome to enjoy the selection of fresh sunflowers and pumpkins available for purchase but must park at the sister farm across the street, Ravenwood, in their open field. To prevent ruining good shoes or clothing, please dress appropriately! The grounds can be muddy or dusty in some areas. Payment of pumpkins or flowers can be via Cash, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp. Some guests choose to bring buckets or wagons as there is limited availability for use. Ward’s Farm also recommends bringing your own scissors to cut the flowers. Looking to kick it up a notch? Try the pony rides across the street at Ravenwood Riding Academy. Packages at Ravenwood Riding Academy include $15 for 15 minutes, $30 for 30 minutes, or $5 for one large lap! Yeehaw!

The Funny Farm Rescue & Animal Sanctuary has created a home for over 550 animals that have been unwanted, sick, injured, and abused since 2000. This non-profit organization opens its doors twice a week so that you can visit these animals. Everything in your ticket is entirely outdoors this year, including Halloween Hay Maze, pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, endless fun on the 19′ tall Big Kahuna, individually wrapped treat at the Snack and Toy Cottage, new endless play, climbing, imagination-building, and fun on the interactive train, and more!
