Stockton University, Philadelphia University & Reliance Medical Group – Physician Assistant Master’s Degree
Stockton University is partnering with Philadelphia University (PhilaU) and Reliance Medical Group to offer an Atlantic City-based program in this growing healthcare field.
The program will mirror PhilaU’s M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies, which is nationally ranked and accepts undergraduates into an accelerated “3 + 2”, five-year master’s degree, as well as graduate students into a two-year master’s program.
Graduate courses will be held at Stockton’s Carnegie Center, which is located in Atlantic City. Clinical work will be done with the Reliance Medical Group in Atlantic City and at healthcare sites in surrounding communities.

Salem Community College (SCC) is a public institution offering comprehensive, two-year associate degrees. Established in 1972, and accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, SCC grants A.A., A.S., A.F.A. and A.A.S. degrees, as well as certificates in over 40 business, liberal arts, technology and practical nursing programs of study. SCC, which is the only higher educational institution in Salem County, is certified by the New Jersey Secretary of Higher Education. Rutgers’ Intensive Weekend program is committed to providing access to MSW education for individuals in the Heartland area of South Jersey who work with families and communities. The program is designed to permit individuals working in the human services to continue their important work while enhancing their professional and leadership skills through MSW education. The program holds classes in both Mays Landing and Bordentown, making it geographically accessible to New Jersey’s Heartland residents.
ATLANTIC COUNTY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
The Atlantic County Institute of Technology (ACIT) is a public high school in Mays Landing that offers a variety of outstanding Career Technical programs, including: Automotive Technology, Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, Cosmetology, Fashion Decoration & Design, and Computer Aided Drafting & Design. The high school also has a great selection of Academy Programs, such as: Air Force JROTC, Building Technology, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Travel & Tourism, Health Science & Medicine, and Information Technology. The Salem County Career and Technical High School is a comprehensive high school preparing secondary and post-secondary students for career and technical employment, as well as higher education opportunities that will also provide a path to employment.
