Main Street Vineland Schedules Next Tour Of Available Downtown Properties For Real Estate Brokers, Agents, Investors, And Entrepreneurs For May 15
As part of an ongoing aggressive plan to re-brand downtown Vineland for the future, Main Street Vineland is inviting area real estate brokers, agents, investors and entrepreneurs to tour available retail, office, and other properties along downtown Landis Avenue—The Ave— in Vineland on Wednesday, May 15
This next Realtor Tour on The Ave will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. and will be sponsored by the South Jersey Federal Credit Union. It will start at the Main Street Vineland office, 603 E. Landis Ave., at 2 p.m. for networking and light refreshments, followed at 2:30 by an overview of the vision for the downtown and the incentives that can be offered. The tour will follow at 3 p.m., as those participating will be shuttled to each property. Property owners are being requested to have fact-sheets ready for the brokers, agents, and investors at the time of the visit. After the tour, head over to the Landis Theater, 830 E. Landis Ave., as Main Street Vineland and the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce partner for a Meet-and-Greet, open to area businesses and the public.
Interested brokers, agents, investors, and entrepreneurs need to contact the Main Street Vineland office by calling 856-794-8653 or e-mailing mainstreet@vinelandcity.org.
The previous realtor tours were very successful, Swanson said, with several properties shown being rented. Each tour has brought continued results and successes.
“We have several available properties in various sizes,” Swanson said. “Brokers and agents can learn how prospective clients can benefit by purchasing or leasing prime downtown spots. Whether the client needs office space, or dreams of opening up a new boutique store, micro-brewery, or coffee shop, the locations are ideal. Entrepreneurs can see the opportunity on The Ave for opening a business and which properties could be the best fit.”
Swanson wants to fill these properties with quality, sustainable businesses and, at the same time, attract a new generation of business owners and customers to downtown.
“The need to attract new business people and residents to our downtown and to add them to our downtown business mix is essential,” Main Street Vineland Associate Director and Business Development Director Robert Scarpa said. “Whether they are baby boomers, millennials, Gen X, Gen Y, or another age group, the entrepreneurs and customers of today and the future are those we want to target and attract. They know the new business models such as pop-up stores, business incubators, makerspace, and hackerspace. Young business leaders are very excited about our downtown and establishing themselves here.”
This Realtor Tour on The Ave is an ongoing part of matching available properties with potential business owners,” Scarpa said. “The future is now and I am excited about looking ahead to fulfilling our vision for our downtown.”
