MAIN STREET VINELAND TO PRESENT SECOND CRAFTS AND ANTIQUES SHOW ON THE AVE ON MAY 7
Juried Show to Include Downtown Merchants Sidewalk Sale
Over 40 Vendors Expected
Rain date: Sunday, May 8
With a large market existing for good quality crafts and antiques, Main Street Vineland is enthusiastic about debuting a new downtown event—Crafts and Antiques Show on The Ave—on Saturday, May 7 (rain date: Sunday, May 8), from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 600 block of Landis Avenue.
Main Street Vineland is again working with a firm that has a large database of crafters and antique dealers. This will be a juried show with the firm and Main Street Vineland taking part in the participant selection process. Merchants on The Ave are also being invited to participate in the sidewalk sale aspect of the event.
“The response from our first show last November was such that we have brought it back and, with favorable spring weather, we anticipate a great turnout,” said Main Street Vineland Executive Director Russell Swanson. “These shows attract a good number of vendors, of which we are expecting over 40, and interested parties who come to look for fine crafts and antiques. We’re proud to add this as another strong part of our calendar of events.”
“These shows attract a good number of vendors and interested parties who come to look for fine crafts and antiques,” said Main Street Vineland Executive Director Russell Swanson. “We believe that his is something that will become another strong part of our calendar of events.”
Main Street Vineland Associate Director Robert Scarpa sees this as a win for everyone concerned.
“Not only will the vendors get additional exposure, but the public will have another chance to pick up some fine items. With the street remaining open to traffic, it will be good for our downtown merchants and restaurants along our walking trails,” Scarpa said.
